Daytona Beach fun family activities and attractions will keep every family member happy! Go to the Daytona Lagoon waterpark, play putt-putt golf, learn to surf with the whole family, go to the races, try para-sailing, or take a fishing trip offshore! So much to do, the only problem will be deciding which activity to do first...
Daytona Beach historical landmarks are another reason to take pictures and enjoy our longtime Florida traditions. Daytona Beach is the home of stock car racing and beach driving! See Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s statue outside the Daytona Experience at the Speedway, visit the Halifax Museum, or bring the kids to the Museum of Arts and Sciences for an educational and fun experience.
Daytona Beach has a sizzling night life! Go beachside for a pub crawl through our infamous bars on Main Street, enjoy the many bars and restaurants downtown on Beach Street, dance the night away at one of our night clubs, or enjoy drinks while watching a live band. No matter what mood you are in there is a bar, restaurant, or night club to suite your style.
It may be overshadowed by all the other great attractions in our area, but Daytona Beach has some of the best performing arts and cultural attractions for entertainment. See the London Symphony Orchestra or attend a performance at the Peabody Auditorium, which plays host to everything from the Pink Floyd Experience and laser light shows to Tony Bennett and Broadway performances.
Bring home some great souvenirs from one of our many Daytona Beach surf shops or boutique stores along the beach. Find great antiques and collectibles while cruising downtown off Beach Street and bring home something that is truly unique. Further down International Speedway Blvd are the major national stores and The Pavilion nearby in Port Orange offers upscale shopping, movies, and more.
You're on the east coast of Florida! Daytona Beach and New Smyrna have got some of the most consistent surf breaks in our area! Paddle out next to our famous local surf stars or attend one of the annual Pro surf contests like the Daytona Beach Winter Jam or New Smyrna Beach Corona Pro Surf contest.
New to surfing? We've got surf shops galore for surfboard rentals for those who want to learn and some of the best surfing schools for private lessons or group surf camps. Try stand up paddle boarding when the waves are mellow with guided stand up paddle board lessons and tours.
